In many countries,prison is the common solution to the problem of crime.However,another effective way is to provide people with better education so that they will not become criminals.To what extent do you agree or disagree?

但是，單靠教育沒法完全預(yù)防犯罪行為的發(fā)生。比如社會公平和貧富差距問題，依靠教育并沒有辦法很好解決，而是需要制定更加完善的政策和法律，并由管理者來嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行，才能夠有效遏制這方面問題的發(fā)生，創(chuàng)造一個更好的生存環(huán)境，使得人們遵紀(jì)守法也能正常生活，而不需要采用違法手段達(dá)到目的。

In criminology,examining why people commit the crime is very important in the ongoing debate of how crime should be handled and prevented.It is admitted that better education could effectively help to lower the crime rate.However,I believe in terms of seeking solutions in ultimately reducing types and levels of crime,broader perspectives need to be explored.

It is true that part of these criminal acts is committed by people who fail to receive a proper education.Normally,criminals are those who have problems in school including low grades,lack of attendance or disciplinary actions,such as suspension or expulsion.In these cases,it is hard for them to be taught respect for authority and consideration for others or equipped with knowledge and techniques for a reasonable job.As a result,they may easily come up with subconscious thought that compels them to impulsive reactions when angry or steal out of a sense of need when feeling hopeless about making a living.

Such as it is,however,criminality cannot be fully avoided.According to research conducted regarding this,more factors namely,genes,environment,and society are involved in the criminality of individuals.Poor diet,mental illness,bad brain chemistry and even evolutionary rewards for aggressive criminal conduct have been proposed as explanations for crime.Also,people develop motivation to commit the crime and the skill to commit crime through the people they associate with and the environment they are surrounded by.For instance,a neighbourhood that has fraying social structures featuring vacant and vandalized buildings and high unemployment,in particular,is more likely to have high crime rates.

In conclusion,as there exist different backgrounds that mould people into criminal behaviour,offering better education can only take effect within a limited scale,and would not have the desired result.
