我們提到過(guò)，說(shuō)出句子會(huì)比只說(shuō)一個(gè)詞來(lái)得好，所以最好是說(shuō)一個(gè)句子，比如：

My major is computer science.

I major in computer science.

Im studying the major of computer science.

緊接著的問(wèn)題必然是Why，你可以直接接著上面的答案說(shuō)下去，喜不喜歡這個(gè)專業(yè)，為什么選這個(gè)專業(yè)等等，也有可能考官接話接的快些，緊接著就問(wèn)你：

Why did you choose to study that subject?

條件反射地，你會(huì)用because開(kāi)頭，這沒(méi)錯(cuò)，符合邏輯，而且假如后面的理由陳述得好自然是沒(méi)問(wèn)題的，比如：

Because I like this major very much. Computer science is a little bit challenging but Im good at it so I enjoy doing this subject. Also, I can get a decent job easily after I graduate from the university.

但如果你能想出的理由比較單一，開(kāi)頭的時(shí)候應(yīng)該給自己爭(zhēng)取一點(diǎn)時(shí)間，用總起的方式就可以辦到：

There are many reasons why I choose computer science as a major.

或者

The reasons are complicated, you know.

再加上理由，也很自然，而且能讓答案顯得更長(zhǎng)。

總結(jié)一下回答這個(gè)問(wèn)題的角度可以有：

是否喜歡這個(gè)專業(yè)(是不是自己選的，還是父母家人建議的?)

like/enjoy, dislike/don't like/hate

it's my cup of tea 它是我喜愛(ài)的。

總起可以說(shuō)：

We have so many subjects, of course.

上次講過(guò)的舉例子(example)的方法在這里也可以使用，for example, for instance. 今天再說(shuō)兩個(gè)，such as以及l(fā)ike，都能引出短語(yǔ)或者詞匯，不能加句子。

接著講：

I like some of the courses such as Academic Writing and Theory of Software Engineering because I can learn a lot in these courses and the professors are very nice and supportive. However, I hate doing courses like Introduction to Technology because the lectures are so boring.

Where do you study?

問(wèn)地點(diǎn)，自然就是學(xué)校的name，location，還可以提一提現(xiàn)在幾年級(jí)，在那待了多久了，喜不喜歡這個(gè)學(xué)校，這些都是extra information額外信息。

I'm studying in Nanjing University and Im in the new campus on the outskirts of the city. I have been studying there for two years and I like this university very much.

這個(gè)問(wèn)題在申請(qǐng)學(xué)校寫(xiě)Personal Statement的時(shí)候也要提及，比如名氣大，歷史悠久，教學(xué)質(zhì)量好，環(huán)境優(yōu)美，注重學(xué)生身心健康，涉及到人、地、事、時(shí)、物各個(gè)方面;

object名氣大(good reputation)

time歷史悠久(long history)

place環(huán)境優(yōu)美(beautiful campus surroundings)

event教學(xué)質(zhì)量好(excellent education quality)

people重學(xué)生身心健康(pay attention to the wellbeing of their students)

組織一下語(yǔ)言：

I choose it because of many reasons. The main reason is that it has a good reputation and long history. Also the campus surroundings are beautiful and pleasant. Ive heard that its education quality is excellent while at the same time it pays much attention to the wellbeing of all the students. So I think its a good university.
